Key Responsibilities

• Utilize extensive experience with Linux distributions such as RHEL and CentOS.
• Manage and troubleshoot shells, filesystems, and utilities.
• Work with container orchestration frameworks, including on-prem solutions and Rancher Kubernetes.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of Kubernetes objects and their management.
• Manage storage solutions, with experience in ONTAP being highly desirable.
• Handle storage volumes, aggregates, backups, and disaster recovery (DR) planning.
• Create and support automation scripts using shell scripting, Ansible, and Python for infrastructure deployments, validations, and monitoring.
• Improve operational tasks through effective automation.
• Schedule and manage monitoring scripts using cron and Apache Airflow.
• Possess knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, and handle database-related tasks.
• Demonstrate expertise in AWS and its services.
• Manage incident response and problem management processes to resolve issues promptly and effectively.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience working with Linux flavors like rhel/centos os, shells, filesystems, and utilities
• Creating and supporting automation scripts (shell/ansible/python) for infrastructure deployments, validations, and monitoring to improve operational tasks
• Experience scheduling monitoring scripts using cron and airflow
• Experience with monitoring tools including Dynatrace, Apica, Grafana, etc
• Database knowledge including SQL and NoSQL dbs
• Experience building CICD pipelines (preferred)
• Cloud platform knowledge (specifically AWS) is required 
• Incident handling and problem management
